This Privacy Policy describes how GameWeenies Identity handles information used to establish, authenticate, and connect identities.

1. Information we process

Depending on how you use the service, GameWeenies Identity may process:

• your GameWeenies native identity identifier;
• a verified email address used for native account control and password recovery;
• password credential material stored in protected derived form rather than as a plaintext password;
• temporary authentication and session records;
• external platform identifiers, such as an authoritative Discord user identifier, when you choose to claim an external identity;
• continuity records describing which supported platform identities are associated with your GameWeenies identity;
• temporary verification, recovery, OAuth, and claim ceremony state; and
• operational and security information reasonably necessary to operate, diagnose, and protect the service.

2. How we use information

We use this information to establish and authenticate identities, maintain sessions, recover account control, process declared identity operations, resolve identity relationships, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and operate and secure the service.

3. External platform authorization

When you authorize a supported external-platform claim, GameWeenies may communicate with that platform to obtain the minimum authoritative identity information needed for the requested operation. For Discord identity claims, the service requests authorization sufficient to identify the Discord account being proven.

4. Sharing and disclosure

GameWeenies does not sell identity information. Information may be exchanged with service providers or external platforms when required to perform an operation you request, operate infrastructure, protect the service, comply with applicable law, or respond to valid legal process.

5. Retention

Durable identity and continuity records may be retained while needed to operate the identity system and preserve the integrity of established relationships. Temporary verification, recovery, session, and claim records are retained only as needed for their operational or security purpose and may expire or be invalidated.

6. Security

GameWeenies uses technical measures intended to limit unnecessary exposure of credentials and temporary proofs. For example, passwords are not intended to be stored in plaintext, and opaque session or ceremony secrets may be stored only as digests when the raw value is not required.

7. Your choices

You choose whether to establish a GameWeenies identity and whether to claim supported external platform identities. Available account-control and recovery mechanisms may be used to manage access to your native identity. Additional identity-management controls may be added as the service develops.

8. Children and eligibility

The service is not intended to override age, eligibility, or parental-consent requirements imposed by applicable law or by connected third-party platforms.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the service, supported platforms, and data practices develop. Material revisions will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
